This past Monday, the Starbucks on the third floor of Tate finally opened after teasing us with construction for the past two months. While the line was long, the staff was quick and efficient and kept the customers very happy. The timing couldn't have been better since we're in the period in between Thanksgiving break and Christmas break in which we're all drowning in end of the semester projects and finals. With that, here are 10 reasons to treat yourself to a break at Starbucks.

1. Because you finished a page of your paper.

Off to a great start.

2. Because you have a final next week that you have studied for.

Look at you, so studious and prepared.

3. Because you have a final next week that you haven't studied for.

It's okay, you'll get to it.

4. Because you wrote the dates of your finals down in your planner.

Organization is the first step to success.

5. Because you wrote your name on your paper.

It's all about that starting point.

6. Because he didn't text you back.

How dare he.

7. Because Kylie's Holiday Lip Kits sold out within seconds and you didn't get one.

It's a sad day, but they will be restocked soon.

8. Because you're hungry.

Nothing that a drink and pastry from Starbucks can't fix.

9. Because you walked to class.

Going to school AND getting exercise? Man, you've got it together.

10. Because you walked to class in the rain.

Shoutout to you for not letting bad weather conditions stop you.

11. Because you went to class at all.

And you looked just like Britney while you sat there listening (or not listening).

12. Because you didn't make it to class but you still got out of bed.

You'll do better tomorrow.

13. Because you're stressed.

We feel that.

14. Because it's Monday, or Tuesday, or Wednesday etc.

Every day that goes by is one day closer to the break.

15. Because you just deserve it, along with a hug.

Good luck on finals, finish strong!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
