Why You Can Never Stop Dreaming

No matter where you are in your life, always keep the dream in mind.

Why You Can Never Stop Dreaming

It has come to that point in the semester where we feel hopeless. We feel like we can’t do anything right, no matter how hard we try. We break down, we stress out, and sometimes we may even cry. Let the emotions out, express how you feel, but never stop dreaming and always keep this one thing in mind.

Keep in mind that if everything was easy, nothing would be worth the work, or the wait. I am sure you have felt like you have hit rock bottom, and that you have nowhere else to go. You feel like you need to quit before you start something new, and can’t face the challenge that is given to you.

Like I have said in my previous article “I Promise You, This Quote Will Change Your Life”, life IS like an EKG scan. You have to have ups and downs, otherwise, what is the point of life?

When you are broken down, take a deep breath, settle down for a minute, and think of the first step on getting back on track. Remind yourself of what you are capable of, remind yourself to just take one day at a time, and that you can do this, no matter what the task may be.

But always keep the dream in mind. How will you get there? If you give up now, will you ever get to where you want to be? How often do you think about the dream? Are you obsessed with it, live it and breathe the idea every day? Or do you just put it to the side, and barely keep it in mind?

You won’t get to where you want to be, or where you are meant to be if you stop dreaming. You could be left unhappy, jealous of others who are actually following your dream and feeling unfulfilled with where you are because you either gave up or didn’t try hard enough at what you did in the past.

Everything stacks on each other, and you can never get back up unless you have the motivation to try again. So yes, class may suck now, your job may suck now, or whatever it may be, may suck right now.

But keep in mind, if you are trying your best, working hard, and telling yourself that you will ‘overcome’, and to never forget the dream, the goal, the purpose you believe you were born to serve, you are bound to do anything, even the impossible.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Whether you met your new love interest online, through mutual friends, or another way entirely, you'll definitely want to know what you're getting into. I mean, really, what's the point in entering a relationship with someone if you don't know whether or not you're compatible on a very basic level?

Consider these 21 questions to ask in the talking stage when getting to know that new guy or girl you just started talking to:

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
