Why I Wrote For Odyssey

I needed an internship for school, and that is when I began research on my options for it, and I also wanted one that was online and something easy for me. Then after some time researching, I found Odyssey.

I applied to be a content creator since it was something I wanted to do. I loved writing about topics I’m passionate about. I even learned to write to a deadline, and find a picture to go with it.

It was the best decision since it was an internship I Ioved to be a part of. It gave me a voice, and a passion for things I love doing.

I wrote about retail, books, movies, and television shows. Even some video games like Resident Evil 7. It gave me something fun to do in between mounds of studying and essays.

I learned to find the pictures that went with the story, and to write to deadline. I was a part of a team, and writing is something I love doing. I can’t imagine not writing since it’s a part of my life.

It taught me how to create content in a matter of days and taught me what worked and what didn’t. I got to share it with my social media accounts and even wrote about college life and book writing.

I loved writing for Odyssey since it gave me a voice. I graduated college Friday, and this is my second to last article. It was a wild ride, and if you want to write for Odyssey all you have to do is apply. You will enjoy it, especially if you have a voice, and love to write.

It teaches you how to get ideas, write them, choose a picture, and engage with an audience. You can write as much or as little as you want. Whatever topic you choose since you choose what to write.

It can teach you to write quick to deadline, and get out words no matter how busy life gets. You can write on a variety of topics. I loved writing for them, and afterward, I'll turn my attention to writing on my blog.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
