All of my friends always correct me when I tell people I'm from Wisconsin. They say, "Holly you're actually from Kansas City." No, no, and no. I'm going to tell you why I always associate more with Wisconsin than with Kansas City, Missouri. Because once a Wisconsinite, ALWAYS a Wisconsinite.

1. Dairy is the most important food group

This milk is truly life changing. People always look at me funny when I say bagged milk is my favorite drink. They say, "Bagged milk? What the heck." It tastes way different than regular milk and it's not because it's in a bag. So check yourself before you wreck yourself and get a bag of milk.

2. Aaron Rodgers

This man is SO fine. Even though he has some family issues that he needs to take care of, myself and every other Packers fan will be standing by when he figures them out waiting to take him back. Because damn. He's athletic, attractive, intelligent, independent, and did I mention hot?

3. The Lake

Sorry Missouri friends. But nothing compares to the lake in Wisconsin. It is so carefree with no wifi or Internet connection, and you can truly just have a fun time and get away from everything. You see family friends that you only get to see that one week a year, and you get to eat some delicious food and drink special drinks.

4. Jump Around

If you don't know the iconic Jump Around dance, that is truly a disappointment.

5. Summerfest

One of the hottest music festivals the country has to offer. Popular singers such as Selena Gomez, Luke Bryan, Ed Sheeran, Thomas Rhett, Bruno Mars, Hunter Hayes, Andy Grammer, and many more have blessed the Summerfest stage in the past.

6. 'The Dells'

One of my favorite places in the world as a child to vacation with my family. I have fond memories of visiting the waterparks here as a kid and the rush you got when you went on the big kid slide for the first time. In 5th grade I did a day trip here for Safety Patrol and that was truly the highlight of my elementary school years.

7. Wisconsin isn't a way of life, Wisconsin is a lifestyle

My favorite state forever and ever. It's beautiful all across the state, and the summers and the winters are the best there is. I'll never forget the year we had 100 inches of snow.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
