Standing at the edge of unknown, forests of willowing evergreens blanket the whispering road. Wanders cannot see where the tangled depths weave to. The path is illuminated by a soft twinkling wonder, breathing through branches that canopy high over one’s perception. It’s breath is warm and inviting, temptation beats through it’s crevices. The wind whispers soft messages of past explorers.
Embracing the possibilities of what could be, steady thumps of curiosity trickle through the vines of the wanders. The dirt holds the mold of faded ridges of ones who were brave enough to enter. Courage pulses through their limbs, staring into the last visible branch. Inhaling the crisp air, the choice is made. The first step marks the ground of where ever the path will lead to.
Why do we wander? The world is filled with so much life and wonderment. Different cultures and people walk this Earth waiting for you to experience it all. Deepest depths lead to darken paths that can never be experience through just a view of your screen. You need to go there to feel all that they may be. You never know what you like until you roam.
I don't know about you, but I believe in adventure. I believe that there is more to life then sitting at your 9-5 job clicking away at your keyboard with out a drop of meaning. You can't live a life worth something if you don't infuse meaning into what you are doing. Meaning comes from experience and I am a firm believe experience comes from exploring.
Go, see the the world and all that it is made to be. It may be scary, but discovery was not found in the face of fear.
Don't ever wait on what could be. People become trapped in the life they safely wrap themselves in. Waiting for something to excite them, waiting for the next big break. Wander, roam there is no time to wait. Life is happening now, don't ever let a second of let it pass you by.
“You will come to a place where the streets are not marked. Some windows are lighted. but mostly they're darked. But mostly they're darked. A place you could sprain both your elbow and chin! Do you dare to stay out? Do you dare to go in? How much can you lose? How much can you win?” (Oh, The Places You'll Go- Dr. Seuss)
It could be dark, it could be scary, but it also could be the best experience you could ever take yourself on. It will always be unknown if you decide to back away and take the more visible road. Risks are what makes the best discoveries. Fear is inevitable, but the test of beating it is the choice of the wanders. Just remember, "not all who wander are lost".
