College Football has become so much more exciting since the playoff system has been put in. There is so much to analyze to predict if your team will be included in the top four put together by the playoff committee at the end of the year. The format by no means is perfect, but as a fan it just makes it more interesting. It is heartbreaking to see your team left out, but thrilling to see them included. College Football lost a lot of its superstars to the NFL Draft but that is no reason to stop tuning in on Saturdays. New guys will be stepping up and competing for their respective starting roles. There are a lot of reasons why 2016 will be a great year for College Football and here's a few of them:
The Heisman Race

Everybody knows a few of the Heisman favorites for next year. The big three seem to be Deshaun Watson, Leonard Forunette, and Christian McCaffrey. While I do agree with those, I want to throw Josh Rosen of UCLA in the mix. He has the pocket presence of an NFL veteran and looks very poised to be one of College Football's stars in his sophomore season. Also, you can never count out the workhorses that are McCaffrey and Fournette. There is no clear pick this early to who will win. Throughout next season I predict we will see a tight race for the Heisman trophy.
The Traditions

College Football traditions are some of the coolest things you will ever see. College Football is all about respect and it starts with respecting the team's traditions. Every school has them, some more significant than others. There is nothing quite like witnessing traditions take place at a college football game. It is what brings a whole campus of students or a city in general together. Brad Paisley's song "Country Nation" is as perfect representation of what these traditions are all about.
Rivalries

Rivalry Weekend is my favorite event in College Football. There are so many good games on and so much to watch. The history behind some of these rivalries is just amazing to look at and it only makes the passion of the fans and player stronger. These rivalries in CFB are some of the largest in all of sports. In 2016, I cannot wait for Rivalry Weekend and what it entails!
There are many more analytical reasons why to watch but I'm not going to get into those. I will always be counting how many Saturdays left until September 3rd. Everything you loved last year in College Football will be back this year, and I cannot wait for it all to begin!
