Imagine sleeping in for fifteen hours, having a nice dream, waking up in your PJs and taking another nap. Sounds nice, doesn't it?

Now imagine waking up at 5 AM, quickly throwing random stuff into your backpack and running to catch a cab to the airport. Although it sounds pretty messy and chaotic, there is beauty in the thrill. It may be annoying living in the moment but it becomes a joke to you when you finally check in.

Traveling can be a disease to someone, something so exciting and breathtaking with just the mention of it. Traveling, even to the nearest city or town is an adventure. It is essentially all about how YOU experience your specific "adventure". The good and bad of that adventure, and what you'd like to remember for next time you travel. It's not about how many places you visit, it's about what knowledge you gain from that place and the vibe it gives you.

Traveling is important for us. It is crucial to learn about how other places function so that we can find a place we'd best feel comfortable living in. If we choose to close our eyes and walk, we are solely being careless and mindless. We will cross paths with things we could have avoided if we were just a teensy bit aware.

Traveling is beyond experiencing different cultures, foods, drinks, and languages. It's also about what you learn from the different systems, social lives, environment, and how we can adapt some of the good we find in different cities, towns, and even countries.

Of course, there's nothing bad in posting your adventures on social media. In fact, it's actually good. Through your adventure, others could also get a feel of the place you visited.

Traveling also gives people time to think about new ideas, be it a new story you're writing or your next nature-related poem. It gives you time to get lost and discover new things, new alleys, new people, and to accumulate funny stories. It gives you an introspect on how the world does things differently.

It's also cool to see how international cuisines are offered in different countries.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
