Walking side-by-side with hundreds of thousands of people made me realize that we must address issues of inequality in groups across the board, including healthcare, occupational injustice, LGBTQ rights, immigration, and disability rights.
Gabrielle Robinson - photographer - in action, capturing the following photo.
As a photographer and woman with a disability, it has affected my experience while working and is extremely important that healthcare is available for anyone who needs it.
Another reason I participated in the march was for climate justice and environmental protection. As the dominant species on our planet, standing up for our planet to protect and preserve its native fauna and flora is our responsibility.
Lastly, always remember, in the words of John Maxwell, “leaders become great, not because of their power, but because of their ability to empower others.”
