You see a boy, who starts with absolutely nothing, come to be a highly successful and inspirational man, who takes people who are known to be "outsiders" and "weirdos" to the stage, and showcases their amazing talents. It truly is eye-opening.

2. ZENDAYA

Zendaya. Is. Queen. She is absolutely talented. She not only can act, but she can sing and dance. She exhibits beauty in the movie with her cotton candy pink hair. You will see her go through some rough situations, but that only shows how powerful she truly is. Looooove her.

3. THE SOUNDTRACK. O WOW.

I think the most amazing thing about this movie, personally, is the soundtrack. All, and I mean ALL, the songs are so spectacular and moving. Each song will either make you smile, cry, or be inspired. I catch myself listening to it on my way to class, or screaming the lyrics in the shower. Either way, you will most definitely be catching yourself singing to the lyrics to the songs whether you like it or not. My personal favorite is This is Me by Keala Settle. That girl can SANG.

4. Zac Efron. You knew I had to say it.

Zac Efron in another musical? WHO KNEW. But, he definitely made such a comeback with singing and acting in this musical. He is truly talented, and he is not so bad to look at either. It was DEFINITELY the start of something new, am I right?!

5. The Exposure of Interracial Relationships

Zac Efron and Zendaya test the odds when they begin dating in the movie. You see how they are able to handle dealing with everyone telling them that this is not morally right. Showing this not only is inspiring, but it gives people in interracial relationships a voice that this is just as normal as any relationship.

6. It shows that you are able to obtain anything you set your mind to

The story of P.T. Barnum is truly inspiring, but is also sad at times. You see P.T. who had started with nothing but dirt, go to having everything he wanted. This is all because of his dedication and hard work. It is his ambition that made the movie so moving.

7. It makes you feel good.

I'll end with this. This movie is something I didn't expect to hit me the way it did. Even writing this made me have more appreciation for the movie. This movie is gold. The soundtrack is gold. The actors and actresses are absolutely gold. It will make your heart happy once you leave the theater. Go see it.
