For those who are not familiar, Olivia Pope is the main character in the hit TV show "Scandal." This show deals with all the political drama surrounding Washington D.C. and the government. There are many scandals that take place and Olivia is known as the "fixer" in D.C. as she handles many problems occurring from powerful individuals in D.C. It's one of those shows you can not say "last episode then I'm going to sleep" because good ol' writer Shonda Rhimes likes to keep you on the edge of your seat and, unfortunately, up all night watching. Olivia Pope is a great example of a strong female lead and makes all of us want to be her.

1. She has the best facial expressions.

Just look at that. Whenever someone does something dumb, she has no problem letting them know, because she's always right.

2. She's powerful.

Her world, her rules. This also makes her so great at fixing problems because she is so fierce. Everyone knows that she knows best, so they listen to her.

4. She's intimidating and you can't mess with her.

In order to be the best "fixer" in D.C., she knows how to work all the angles. She can make someone seem like the most wonderful person in the world and get them elected president, or she can ruin their life.

5. She's confident.

"Call Olivia Pope" is what everyone says when they kill someone, need to be elected, etc. She is the best at what she does and totally owns it. She always says, "Consider it handled." Then she gets the job done.

6. She dresses to impress.

Olivia Pope is always sporting a trendy outfit, normally white, and is always dressed to impress.

7. She's a great friend.

Whether it is Cyrus, Huck, Quinn, Abby, etc., she is always there for her friends. She goes above and beyond for them despite everything they have all been through or what struggle they are overcoming.

8. She gets all the boys.

All the cute men in this show just fall right in love with Olivia. The president and Jake Ballard both express their love for her, and she constantly is choosing between them. Wow, must be so hard...
