We all have had those days where we are just stressed out of our minds, but don't know how to channel that stress. Trust me, I know that feeling very well especially when working with kids every day. We do not want to talk to people because we feel like we are bothering them or we just do not want to come off as being complainers and such. We do not want to hit a wall for the sake of our knuckles and an unwanted trip to the ER. Well, friends, I have the perfect solution for those who are feeling really stressed out.

That solution is.... Stress cleaning!!! This is the best way to channel that stress for a few reasons. I do this all the time and trust me, when I tell you the reasons why it is so awesome, you will want to do it!

It's beneficial for your apartment/house. You are cleaning the house to be even nicer and more spotless than it was before. That way, the next time you walk through the door, you will not have to worry about coming home to a messy house.

It saves your breathe because you are too focused on cleaning. Go ahead, plug in some music and get cleaning. By the time you are done cleaning, you will either forget what you were stressed about or not be as stressed as you were before you started cleaning. You also avoid yelling at your best friend out of stress, which is always something to avoid.

It also saves you from doing foolish things. Stress cleaning is helping you make those smarter decisions and not do the things you really want to do, even though you know those choices are wrong and again, foolish. You don't want to have to live with the memory that you texted that person or bought that really expensive dress.

You get complimented on how clean your home is. Some friends came over and said that my apartment was so spotless and clean. I feel so happy that my peers love seeing my apartment and complimenting it because I never have to worry about them thinking that it is an awful mess all the time. I do not have to worry about thinking, "Oh my God, she is judging how dirty the table is right now."

Stress cleaning can seriously save your butt and also make your life a lot less stressful. You become a proud home owner who is very proud to have guests in your home all the time entertaining. You can also avoid all of those scary or awkward situations by distracting yourself with a vaccum or a duster.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
