Why Inauguration Protestors Should Be Ashamed
Time

Although the Presidential Election has ended, many have still yet to find peace with the results. While I understand that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I do not understand why so many continue to find themselves unable to move forward and accept the fact that Donald Trump will indeed be our next president and there is nothing they can do about it. Protesting his inauguration is childish and inexcusable, and those involved in such activities are creating more problems than they are solving.

Why put energy into creating more conflict? Why put energy into something that is not going to be changed no matter how much you may cry about it or try to fight it? You aren’t always going to get what you want, and it’s important to be mature enough to accept that and remain open minded rather than immediately break down because things didn’t quite go your way. Rather than protest and create further division, protestors should instead focus their energy on being open minded and flexible, working to lessen the divide that so deeply plagues our country. Protesting the inauguration rather than being mature enough to accept it and move forward is extremely childish and will do nothing more than paint those protesting in a negative light, and I strongly feel those involved in protesting should reconsider their actions.

We hold the power to solve many of the problems our country faces; however, if we are unable to unite and demonstrate maturity we will continue to find ourselves moving backward rather than forwards. At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter whether or not we are Republicans or Democrats or whether we are for or against our upcoming president—at the end of the day we are all Americans, and we should embark on the journey into our country’s future together whether things go the way we wanted them to or not.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
