Imagine being a teenager living a normal life working at a bakery and then suddenly becoming a part of the biggest boyband in the world, One Direction. Since the age of 16, Harry Styles has been singing in a group with four others, each with their own unique voices and vocal range. If you aren't a big fan, then you probably aren't aware of how truly talented Harry really is.
Sure, everyone thought he had a great voice, but the world didn't really listen. With being labeled as a womanizer amongst many other things, fast forward to 2017, Harry Styles' solo career starts and nobody knew what to expect. “Sign of the Times", his first single, was released and its unexpected sound and vibe caught everyone by surprise. Within 19 minutes, the song became the fastest song to reach #1, surpassing Adele's record. People who weren't even One Direction fans couldn't help but love it and some went as far as to say that nobody truly knew his talent. He recently performed on "SNL" and America got a taste for who Harry Styles really is. He can act, sing, and play guitar and piano.
His spot-on impression of Mick Jagger on the "Family Feud" skit on "SNL" has had everyone talking. Not only does he resemble Mick, but he sounds like him too!
Harry can add "movie star" to his resume! He's going to be in Christopher Nolan's new film, "Dunkirk" and according to Nolan, Harry won the role fair and square; he wasn't picked for boyband fame.
Besides that fact that he's ridiculously talented, he's a good soul. He has a great deal of respect for his family, friends, and his fans. During the week of "Saturday Night Live", Harry got pizza and kiwis for everyone waiting outside of the building. He has a heart of gold, but the media doesn't focus on this. They make him out to be a womanizer and focus on who he's dating or possibly dating rather than his random acts of kindness. He donated his hair to charity, but the media focused on the fact that his long hair was no longer in existence.
I could go on much longer about Harry, but I think I've said enough. It's up to my readers to look him up and see what kind of person he is. Who knows, maybe you'll become a fan. Oh and be on the lookout for his album that comes out on May 12th!
