As an avid fan of the TV drama "Greys Anatomy," I have begun to lose interest in the show. Several years ago I fell in love with the five interns at Seattle Grace hospital, and binge-watched 10 seasons, witnessing love, loss, and many medical emergencies. The show became one of my all time favorites and I didn't believe I would ever not love it.
Although I do still love a good portion of the show and often go back and watch earlier seasons on Netflix, I now feel that the show needs to end.
Here are 4 reasons I believe "Greys Anatomy" needs to end:
1. Derek is dead
Arguably a more essential character than Meredith Grey herself, after Derek's death I could not find a point in watching anymore.
2. 14 seasons is too many
There was a point that I thought I would never want the show to end. But then the creators went for too long and instead of leaving viewers wanting more, they have lost our interest.
3. Too much has changed since the beginning
Obviously, a show as dramatic as Greys needs to have drama, but Shonda Rhimes has taken things a little too far. After 14 seasons, she is left with just four characters from the first episode, which makes it practically a completely different show.
4. A suspicious amount of people have died
Again, although the show is a drama, the number of major characters that have been killed off of the show is far too unrealistic.
