Are You Hungry? Time To FEAST!
Jake Davis

HOWDY!!!! TAMU 22 - we are so excited for you!!! Welcome to FEAST, Freshman Exemplifying Aggie Spirit Together, the newest FLO on TAMU campus.

Each and every one of our staff members is truly ecstatic to meet you!

Now you may be asking yourself, "What is a FLO?"

A FLO is a Freshman Leadership Organization on campus that provides a community of people for you to be involved with. FEAST hopes to have you apply!

We are a FLO designed for the most REDASS Aggies on campus. We were founded by Jake Davis, who had an idea for an organization that could go to sporting events together. We have many exciting events coming up during Howdy Week, if you are interested, feel free to DM me on any one of my social media platforms @hannah_kenzi

When you become a member of FEAST, each member will be placed in a committee where they will spend most of their time. Here are all the staff members, including myself, who are so excited to meet you!!

1. Executive Staff

Executive Crew

Madi Telschow

Although these 6 are not a committee, they make up the most important part of the group as our directors, treasurer, administration, and communication!

The 12th Man committee helps coordinate attending A&M home sporting events, Tailgates in the Fall for Football games, and simplify what it truly means to be the 12th Man at Texas A&M. We take the 12th Man Tradition and exemplify it to its full extent not just by standing at home football game but by supporting fellow Aggies in anything they do.

The main purpose of Functions is to handle all logistics in regards to mixers, retreats, and banquets. We want to effectively deliver stellar experiences in all social events FEAST puts on!

Aggies have great loyalty and dedication to one another and to Texas A&M; we call this the Aggie Spirit, and it runs maroon in our blood. Through the generations we pass countless customs and stories from our time at Texas A&M - each one as special as the others. We cheer each other on in the highs and stand together in the solemnity of the lows. Howdy Army serves to make sure these great traditions never die. We connect freshmen and Aggie communities with events and organizations relevant to our unique spirit.

6. Service League

As a committee, we plan on at least one service project per month. Whether it's packaging food for the Food Bank or creating a huge team for Big Event, Service League is the group for those passionate about serving others.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
