Yes they have been lying. In fact the biggest lie you have heard in your life is from your parents, family members those dear to you. The same way they lied to you that condom is a balloon, yeah the way they lied to you that if a guy should touch u, u would be pregnant.

Let me tell you a story, when I was a kid, I was told that no matter what you do that you can't cover the light, that the light will always shine no matter where it is. The Igbo people refer it to the moon. Which isn't the nicest example they call it "aka egbushi onwa" meaning your hands can't cover the moon.

As a curious 10 year old kid that I was, I like to experiment and see things for my self, so one faithful day. I took a candle stick and a matches stick, went inside the room light up the candle stick and hide it under the bed. Do you know what it was covered. I didn't see the light there was no sign of it. But suddenly I began perceiving some odd smells. The candle has started burning something, so I quickly ran out for water and quenched it, which did got the attention of my mum. The long story short. That day was a dreadful day.
