My articles lately have been about things going on in this world. I find writing about these things are important. This week I want to talk a little bit about something that shouldn't have become political.

Governor Murphy has announced he wanted people to start wearing masks outside. If we are not able to social distance we should wear one and I get it. People expect our cashiers, servers, coworkers, etc to wear masks but we shouldn't? I believe if you don't wear a mask then you're just selfish. I understand that they are uncomfortable. They are not my favorite thing either but I still wear them. Health Care Professionals wear masks every day. Some even wear multiple masks for hours. And we think we have the right to complain? When they are the ones wearing them and trying to fight this virus at the same time. People don't seem to care unless it happens to them. Which I found quite sad.

Wearing a mask protects us and the people around us. Don't make this some weird political agenda when it doesn't have to be. We all want this virus under control so we must do the things that help get it under control. Stop complaining and wear a mask.
