The biggest film from Marvel Studios is just a few weeks away. "Captain America: Civil War" is poised to be a game changer within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. All the past films have seen our favorite heroes take on villains, but this film is not quite that straightforward. Brother will fight brother, and it is set to be a war as the title suggests.

With war comes death. Some of the heroes we have come to know and love will be meeting their maker this May. The only questions that remain are, how many major characters will perish, and which ones? "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" had its major and surprising death, so who will provide that shocking moment in Marvel's next big showdown?

Each character has their own set of of circumstances which leads to them being more or less likely to be that character. Below I discuss each major character, and their odds of "Civil War" being the film that sees them fall.

Antman

Antman has become a fan favorite from his solo adventure, thanks to his fun loving nature and humor. He seems to be a recruit towards the middle of the film as a means in freeing the Winter Soldier from the vice we see him in during Antman's post credit scene. He also does not seem to be a focal point of the story, but more of a side player.

Pair that with the fact that he has another film on the docket, I think it is safe to say Paul Rudd will be walking away from this one. Look for him to provide the humor and some of the more fun moments in the film, not taking a bullet.

Chance of dying: 0%

Spider-Man

This one is simple - Spidey is not going to die. Marvel finally has a piece of his rights to use him in their films, and he will have his own movie in the not too distant future. This movie serves as our introduction to the new web-slinger. No chance they kill off Peter Parker before we even get to know this version of him.

Chance of dying: 0%

Black Panther

He seems to be set up as one of the new stars of the studio. With Cap and Iron Man possibly done after the "Infinity War" films, Black Panther and Dr. Strange could become the faces of Marvel. The trailers for this film has made him look totally awesome, and I expect the actual movie to do the same. He is set to be portrayed as a true star going forward.

That will be done to help set up his first solo film, and also his likely inclusion in the fight against Thanos. The King of Wakanda is going to walk away from this one, likely with a storyline all set, maybe against Baron Zemo. This member of Team Stark seems safe.

Chance of dying: 0%

Vision

Our final character that looks to be totally safe, but for a bit of a more ominous reason. That reason being that he can only be "killed" in one way - the removal of the infinity stone from his forehead. There is only one character who is going to do that: Thanos. Since Thanos is not set to appear in this one, Vision should be safe.

He may walk away questioning humanity, as rumors have him flying off to space at the end of the film. This could mean he is more mentally damaged than physically. So Vision will be alive when the credits roll, but he will still be scarred like most.

Chance of dying: 0%

Winter Soldier

Bucky appears to be at the center of the story, being a focal point of the trailers. He is Cap's best friend and will be fighting by his side. With that he will be on the front line of battle. Therefore, there is at least a chance he does not make it out alive. Add in the fact that he does not have his own film, that notion is increased.

But Sebastian Stan, the actor playing Bucky, has a seven-year deal with Marvel. He is being groomed to take on the shield from Cap when the time comes. So it doesn't seem right to have him die in this one. It certainly is a possibility, but I would be surprised to see it happen. It would definitely provide the shocking moment that leaves fans stunned, however, so it is a moment I would be on board with.

Chance of dying: 15%

Black Widow

Black Widow has no superpowers. She always seems to be a leading candidate for a person who dies in a Marvel film, yet here she is still standing. With each film she appears in, the more and more that talk will continue. She has no solo film coming in the future, and an assassin may not be as useful in a fight against Thanos compared to some other options, especially when you consider the fact that the Guardians of the Galaxy have one of those already in Gamora.

However, like Bucky, I feel like she will still walk away. The idea of having female Earth assassin meet female space assassin down the line is very appealing. There is definitely a scene that could have the two of them kick butt and clear out a room of thugs that would get fans excited. So don't be surprised no matter what Natasha's fate is at the end of this adventure.

Chance of dying: 50%

Scarlet Witch

Scarlet Witch has lost her brother, and is set to be a full on hero now. It doesn't seem right to have her go so soon after her brother's death. However, she has no future film commitments. But her powers seem like they would be useful against Thanos. She's a true wild card in this one. She could easily go, but it doesn't feel right.

Marvel clearly has no issues killing off a Maximoff. The real question is would they get rid of both so fast? Where does she fit into future storylines? They could advance things with Vision and they could easily use her against Thanos. My gut tells me she lives, but the possibility of her death cannot be overlooked or ruled out.

Chance of dying: 60%

Falcon

Falcon became Cap's right hand man last time out. But now Bucky is back on the good guys side. So where does that leave Falcon? In the comics he takes up the shield, but the MCU shield appears headed the way of Bucky, not Sam Wilson. And poor Falcon also does not have his own solo film coming any time soon, so Falcon appears to be in real danger.

Some will point to this only being his second real MCU film, as he only cameo'd in "Age of Ultron." It seems too soon for him to go, with his death more likely to come in the battle with Thanos. But remember, Quicksilver - he didn't even survive one film, so Marvel doesn't really care how many films a character appears in. I really enjoy the character, and sure hope he lives to see another day, but my hopes aren't high.

Chance of dying: 70%

Hawkeye

The man who avoids death. He was supposed to be killed off in "Age of Ultron," but Quicksilver took those bullets. It was apparently talked about, so Marvel clearly has toyed with the idea of removing Clint from the mix. Like Black Widow, he is a mere human with no true superpowers, Pair that with the fact that he got some serious story progression last time and no future films, he seems like a prime candidate.

Problem is, he's a prime suspect in every movie he's in. So what makes this one the one where Marvel finally does it? The answer is not very clear, so I cannot justify it. The bottom line is he is easy to kill off, but no true reason to do so. While he could easily go, my gut tells me he lives to see another day.

Chance of dying: 70%

Iron Man

Robert Downey Jr. has said this is like his version of "Iron Man 4." He is a main figure in this story and will be at the heart of most of the fight scenes. Tony Stark is far from safe in this one. His best chance of survival may come in the form of one of the new characters, Spider-Man. It seems like Iron Man will be a mentor of sorts to young Spidey, and that means he could very well appear in Spidey's solo film. This would require Tony to be alive, obviously.

However, this is by no means a given, as Marvel can have any number of their characters appear in that film. Iron Man has no future films of his own, so he could definitely fall in this battle. Like some of the other characters, my gut says he makes it. Robert Downey Jr. is simply perfect in the role, and I want to see him as many more times as possible, so I may be a bit biased. He is far from safe, but I want him to survive more than any other character.

Chance of dying: 70%

War Machine

The trailers have made one thing clear - War Machine is in some serious trouble. He will be seriously injured in this film, that is a given. We saw that in the trailers. The question is, whether or not he will rebound from that. He has no future films either, and has been around for quite awhile now. His death would certainly be a motivational tool for Tony.

The best thing Rhodey has going for him is that it seems too obvious. Would Marvel actually tease the death of a character who actually dies with a trailer? It just seems suspicious. It seems like it's too easy to say War Machine dies, only to have him pull through in the end. Despite my skepticism, there is clearly a real chance he does die. He is the most likely member of Team Stark to die, so I am torn, with me leaning towards him actually dying.

Chance of dying: 80%

Captain America

This is a Captain America film. He will be the main focus of the film. He will be involved in a decent amount of fights and he will be defending Bucky. This will conclude his trilogy of films with this one as well. So there is plenty of things working against Cap right now. His death is the biggest gasp Marvel could get from the audience. It seems inevitable, as he would be the first major character to fall for Marvel (plenty have died and come back, but none of Cap's stature).

The biggest reason to say he lives is Chris Evans has one more film left in his contract. This could easily be used with Cap dying here, however. They could bring him back in flashback sequences or with the use of the time stone. Simply put, Cap is far from safe. His death would easily match the biggest moment from Batman and Superman's clash, and probably hold more weight with fans as Cap has been established in about four films already, becoming a true fan favorite.

Chance of dying: 90%

So there you have it. This film will see a lot of death, as several medium level characters could be killed off as well. Peggy Carter, Crossbones, and Agent 13 are no locks to walk away from the film. Of those three, I think Peggy and Crossbones will be done when the credits roll.

At the end of the day I think three of the major characters end up dead as well: War Machine, Falcon and Captain America. This would mean a member of both sides will fall, and the death of Cap leaves a lasting image for fans as they leave the theater. Now he should make a magical return at some point down the line during the "Infinity War" films, but this film will end with no hints towards that, unlike the major death in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice." But teasing the death was essentially pointless, which takes away from the moment. So while I expect Cap to be back down the road, the wait will be more meaningful, as it is not a guarantee.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

195453

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
