In all the 19 seasons of Big Brother, I feel it is safe to say this season has been like no other.
With a season controlled by a Big Brother veteran, Paul Abrahamian, there has arguably been little to watch. But does that make this season boring or the most strategic? I constantly find myself going back and forth from wanting to watch and being so annoyed at how oblivious some of the cast has been.
If you are not caught up to who the final three are, the rest of this article contains SPOILERS. Continue at your own risk!
Paul Abrahamian
When it comes to playing alongside a Big Brother veteran, people are often (or at least should be) cautious due to them having played the game before. It never seized to amaze me how Paul did not win every competition, but somehow managed to control anybody who held power. With the exceptions of Jess and Cody, Paul had everyone under his mastermind spell. Will his social game save him from all the backstabbing he did to the jurors? Or will he come in second place for a consecutive year?
Christmas Abbott
As one of the few players that Paul has not turned his back against, it still surprises people that she made it this far. Not fully being able to compete in every competition due to her foot injury, will she receive the final vote from jury members? Or will they recognize the Head of Household competitions that were thrown to her? It's still possible that if the final two is of her and Paul, she could win if the votes are based on spiting Paul's game. Hopefully the votes are based on game moves!
Josh Martinez
The king meatball. If you are interested in seeing the best character development, watch Josh in season 19 of Big Brother. This guy went from rubbing everyone the wrong way to seeing straight through Paul's manipulative ways. Though he has yet to act on it, the moment he realized how crazy dedicated Paul is to winning this season, despite who he has to throw under on the way, Josh would undoubtedly get the votes from jury if he has the guts to backdoor Paul.
Will the jury members vote for Paul, having all been used and disposed of him? Will they go with the one with a foot injury that couldn't compete in some competitions? Or will they see Josh's development into a BB player, seeing through what others couldn't?
If you're anything like me, you probably just want to see more jury house footage and selfishly want Cody to tell everyone "I told you so" with every breath he takes. Otherwise, I'm personally ready for the season to end (even though I would still watch every episode if it went on for another month).
One of these three houseguests will be crowned the BB season 19 winner at 8/7c September 20th, so make sure you catch it! Or don't, because this is honestly predictable and I hope someone makes a last-minute big move.
