With winter being so chilly and bringing fewer hours of sunshine, we might as well head out into the frosty snow and create thrilling adventures while hitting the slopes rather than spend the majority of our time huddled up inside. It may be fun to keep busy with indoor events and games, but the outdoors should not be excluded from your daily endeavors.

Sure, the cold may not be so appealing (at first), but there is much beauty in the blanket of white that covers the trees and ground. Now is the time to take advantage of the opportunities to indulge in winter sports. What better way to stay warm than by staying active and meeting up with close ones or new exciting people who share a common interest!

If you don't already know, skiing and snowboarding are absolute calorie burners! If fitness is your forte or you'd like to start on that journey, then don't shy away from the sports that allow you to glide through the snow. You'll definitely work your core and quadriceps muscles and so much more by adding a ski or snowboarding trip to your winter plans.

Even a winter hike, ice skating, or a sledding event is a great start! By keeping your body healthy, you'll not only feel great physically but also mentally!

Skiing and snowboarding are simply a great way to add some fun to your winter excursions and to enjoy some fresh air on the mountainside. It's always a good idea to step away from the daily stresses of life and bond with the people you care about.

Whether you're new to the sport or a veteran, anyone can enjoy the fun that comes with being in nature and surrounded by the happiness and laughter of those around. Go make snowy adventures at some of California's most loved and currently open slopes.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
