Here you are, enjoying an average day in your fine second semester of college. Everything seems to be going smoothly in your life right now; you're hanging out with your friends, eating your favorite foods from the care packages your parents sent you, and your workload does not feel like it's too bad. Then, out of nowhere something happens. Something hits you and you realize this is not at all the case. You begin to have a slight panic attack and look at every syllabus you have. You read all the assignment pages that your final projects and tests are due mid to end of April. Which is followed by a shocking glimpse at your calendar, realizing it is currently three weeks into April. This is the day you realize just about anything and everything is due next week.
You now have to fit in doing work and studying for all your tests, while keeping up with, well, the rest of your life. This is the day you realize it is actually not just the middle of the semester anymore. This is the day when you realize it is almost finals week.
Your day is now slightly ruined and you dramatically begin to tell your friends they will not be seeing much of you and that your life is over. And as the days pass you notice everyone else is in the same boat. Instead of asking your friends to hangout, you now ask them if they want to go "hang in the lib".
This is the part of the year where skipping the pointless classes that don't have any relevance to the final is completely necessary. You take this valuable time to finish up a project, study for a test, sleep or go on a needed lunch date off campus. You stock up on your favorite snacks because you know that is the only thing keeping you going while studying. You drink an excessive amount of coffee and spend your nights cramming.
Yes, projects, presentations, and of course finals. For freshmen it's overwhelming, sophomores and juniors feel stressed and annoyed, and seniors are just over it all together. It's all a part of our crazy college lives. You all know how it goes, just a few short weeks left.
