When you join a sorority, you notice changes that occur in you life. When you do join one, you literally gain a whole family. It is a given that your life changes for the better. For myself, I have noticed that life is way different, and I had never pictured my life to be like this. There are six specific things that I have noticed since I have been in a sorority.

1. Your Phone Dies Faster

This may seem odd, but you social group grows. You gain so many friends, so you are sending texts and snapchats to your sisters! Your social circle grows, so you are in communication with several people. There's nobody else I would use up my phone battery for than my sisters!

2. You Become More Outgoing

In this situation you basically do not have another choice but to be outgoing and social. You have so many new friends,so why wouldn't you be anything less than outgoing? You will find yourself getting out of your comfort zone.

3. Your Instagram Likes Go From 20 to 200

This may seem silly, but it is pretty accurate. Every time you post something on Instagram, all of your sisters will go and like them. Besides, all of your instagram posts are probably of you and your sisters. You are constantly posting pictures with them. Why wouldn't you? You have to show the world how amazing your sisters are!

4. You Become Spontaneous

Seriously, spontaneity is so big in my sorority. There have been countless times where I have done something fun with my sisters that wasn't planned. Events that are planned are so much fun, but there will always be those midnight trips to get ice cream and french fries. You learn that you always want to hang out with your sisters.

5. You Always Have A Support System

I have never had so much support from anyone (other than my mother, of course) than from my own sisters! They will always be there for you through the good times and bad. They will be there when you succeed in life, and they will be there when you need to eat ice cream and cry on their shoulders. They encourage you, and they will tell you when you are acting stupid, while offering help.

6. You Develop Lifelong Friends

Sorority sisters are the people you will be connected to for the rest of your life. These are the people that you be your lifelong friends, your bridesmaids, your children's godparents, and the people you will cause trouble in the nursing homes with. It is the first time you can really say that this sisterhood will be with you forever. Personally, I am beyond thankful for all of my sisters, and I am glad to know that I have friendships that will go far beyond our golden years.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
