To all of the beautiful girls out there:

You'll forget about every rough storm you've been through. You'll wonder why you ever cried those tears for all of those other guys who broke your heart. I'm not saying there won't be bumps in the road. There's a big difference between this good guy and all of the others. There will be obstacles, arguments, and fights (mostly over nothing, or something you said that came out wrong); but you will get through them with him. That's the difference! You never jumped over these obstacles with your exes, but with this special person, you can overcome these obstacles! You'll know for sure that you have something good.

And when you have something good, please don't let it go. Long story short, you'll regret it every single day for even letting him slip through your fingers like sand. Don't let him get away. Odds are, he's there to be your forever, and you can't compare him to the other guys who hurt you. He's there for a reason, so don't ever give him a reason to leave. He can't be "the one who got away".

This is not just about boys or other relationships. This is actually relevant to anything that comes your way. When you find something worth having, keep it. If you're handed a great opportunity for a job or maybe even a scholarship, don't lose sight of it. You may never get that opportunity again. God has big plans for you and He does the things He does, because He knows what's best for you. Have trust in Him.

Consider this as a pick-me-up and a little confidence booster. I know there are going to be tough days, and you'll be confused. But everything happens for a reason.

When you have something good, hold on to it. Hold on to it with every fiber of your being. Life is about taking chances, but it's also about being smart with the risks that may come with those chances. In today's world, chances are small and limited. So please, when you do have those chances, take them for getting what you want! Go get it, girl!

Be adventurous, be rebellious, and be smart. Have some fun!

When you have something good, cherish it, and don't go looking for something better.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Whether you met your new love interest online, through mutual friends, or another way entirely, you'll definitely want to know what you're getting into. Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
