No matter how different each one of our schedules and routines might be, there's one thing we all have in common and that is our obsession with stalking people on Instagram. Instagram stalking is both the best and the worst thing ever. As far as it works in your favor, it is fun and a great way to pass time. But the moment our fingers slip and accidentally hit the heart button you know your game's over.
It's that feeling where your heart falls out of your rib cage and you can't breathe for what seems like 20 minutes or so but is probably one to two seconds. So here are the seven stages of the dilemma we've gone through or might go through during our full-blown 'OMG' panic mode:
1. You zone out because you can't comprehend what just happened.
You're still trying to understand if your finger just slipped or was it karma getting back at you for some reason.
2. But then you realize it's not a minor mishap.
After you regain your senses you're ought to experience sheer unadulterated panic and thoughts of moving to another country.
3. So you lose your sanity entirely.
Since you have nobody to blame, you start cursing your stupid stalking skills and can't keep yourself together.
4. Then start contemplating your 'oh so unreal' future.
You start worrying and overthinking about what's going to happen next and the best way to you face the awkward situation you've got yourself into.
5. By over analyzing every single detail in your head
Every cell in your body is only working towards making a full proof plan that helps you get out of this mess casually.
6. Of course, the next step is to curse your fate.
You could be smiling on the outside because that is the only way to calm the cray in your head.
7. After hours of looping through the same emotions, you finally decide to let this shit go.
That sweet, blessed moment when you're finally okay with the foolish stalking error you've added to your skills and are now ready to put it in the past.
