You're researching a paper online, watching your favorite Netflix show, or browsing social media when...
BAM
The WiFi is out. It is out without a doubt.
1. You think it's just your computer, and you keep trying to connect, but to no avail.
2. You try shutting down and restarting your computer because it works a good 40% of the time to solve whatever problem you're facing
3. Your computer restarts, but you still have no wifi...and you are getting frustrated...very frustrated
4. You check in your building's group chat to see if other people are having this very problem. They are.
5. If you have your own place, this is the point where you unplug and replug the router, and usually everything is fine...but if that's not the case because A) the router trick didn't work or B) you live in a dorm with hundreds of other people and have no possible idea of how to reset the wifi...
YOU GET DESPERATE! you try to connect to any wifi network in range. You even try.......random passwords....
6. Nothing is working. All hope is lost. You are doomed for an indefinite amount of time. Maybe you even cry. If you're lucky you have Spotify Premium and can listen to music.
7. You play the Google Chrome "no internet" dinosaur in a desert game for a VERY VERY long time
longer than you'd care to admit. Long enough to where you have reached the point where you are actually trying to beat your high score.
