When We Understand That We Have Authority, We Will Not Experience Difficult Times In Our Life

At the house of peace that I had on July 7, 2016, I taught the members that came how to exercise our God-given authority. Have you ever seen a police officer? They might not have the power to physically move cars from roads, but their uniform and badge simply gives them a lot of authority over traffic. When there is authority, there are responsibilities! The same way that a police officer is able to direct traffic when there is chaos, God wants to use us to exercise our power to bring justice onto this Earth!

Why did I write this article? I wrote it because I feel like there is a lot of injustice. Not only that, but there is basically a significant amount of people that haven't used their authority enough. As a result, we are living trapped in a cycle of time and a cycle of routines. In other words, there are no supernatural occurrences or things happening throughout our lives. If we get caught up in this life of routines, we will eventually be caught slipping, and we'll never enjoy the beautiful and wonderful life that God has given us.

First and foremost, I mentioned that Jesus was given all authority on Earth, and he gave it to his disciples and to us. He destroyed the works of the devil and he reclaimed the right to both kingdoms. He did this to take back what Adam surrendered in the book of Genesis. Adam surrendered his authority to Satan when he fell into sin by eating from the apple. As a result, until the death of Jesus, men were trapped under a cycle of not being set free from evil spirits.

I also said that Jesus had all authority. Jesus didn't have to pray to heal someone. He just declared, and the person was healed. Jesus also had authority over the elements; we see it when he told the rain and storm to stop when he was in the boat in Matthew 8:26. He had authority over death when he resurrected. Last but not least, he had authority over Satan and his demons.

Furthermore, what is the most beautiful part about this power authority? The most precious thing is that this authority was given to all of us believers! We have authority over demons and sicknesses! We have authority to move mountains! We can cause or stop rain! We can reconcile people to God! God has given us the power to walk in open heavens. What does this mean? It means that we can apply for a job, and declare that the job is ours, and it will be ours! It means that we can declare that we will have a raise in our job, and our boss will instantly say, "I'm going to give you a raise!" It means that if you are believing that you will have a car, God will supernaturally use someone to bless you with a vehicle! God is supernatural, and that power and authority lives inside of us!

The most powerful thing that I encountered yesterday during the house of peace were the testimonies. Last week in a similar gathering to have house of peace, I remember praying and declaring that God will bless someone with a car. This person had just lost their car due to a terrible accident, and he was believing that God would bless him with a better vehicle! Not only does he have a car, but he didn't have to pay for anything! Two days later, his grandma called him and told him that she wanted to bless him with a car!

There is power in our mouth to declare things! What are you expecting to happen before the year ends? It is similar to writing a check. As long as I have money in my account, I can write a check to whoever I want and the person can cash it and use the funds available. Some people write checks because they owe money to someone else that gave them something in return, or maybe they are buying something from that person. When we have faith and we believe in God, it is like we are writing a check with whatever it is that we are needing. Do we need a miracle? Do we need healing? Do we need prosperity? Do we need to pass a test? We can write it on the check, and the most beautiful thing is that it is paid for completely! It was paid for on the cross when Jesus died for us! Whatever we need, it is already paid for! It is free! Healing is free! Prosperity is free! Knowledge is free!

I pray that you read this and this empowered you to receive! Share this with someone; I believe that it will bless someone else's life!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
