What's Your Missouri State Story?

All Missouri State Bears have been asked this question at least once in their life. But the thing is, it's not that hard to answer. Missouri State is such a great school with incredible people, it's not that hard to see why people fall in love with this school. Everyone is going to have their own unique story, but each person is going to come to the same conclusion. They love Missouri State.

It's the people. Everyone that attends Missouri State is one of the kindest and most generous people you will ever meet. They put others before themselves and stand up for what is right. They respect others' views and opinions when it comes to touchy subjects. The people on campus hold doors open and that may not seem like a huge deal, but it is. One thing unites us all, we are all bears.

It's the campus. Say what you want about other schools, but Missouri State's campus is hard to beat. The fountain is everything and no one really knows why. It just possesses this magical quality about it that makes you want it to stay on forever. The buildings on campus are gorgeous as well and I don't think that people give them enough praise, because they are one in a million. And to top it all off, the sunsets are spectacular in Springfield, MO.

It's the staff. Everyone on campus is dedicated to their job and upholding the pillars that our University stands for. The professors could just show up to class every day and not really care about the education that the students are receiving and that rarely happens at MoState. And that should make every student smile just a little bit because some professors care enough to help set you up for the future. Like, wow. Go MoState.

It's your home away from home. Once you get on Missouri State's campus, it's like love at first sight and there is no going back. No matter who you ask, they will tell you that Missouri State is just so easy to fall in love with. Even if you don't know the person walking in front of you, you can always count on them to help you out if you were ever in need of something.

So, what's your Missouri State Story?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
