What makes Halloween so great? Is it the part about dressing up? Or is it about decorating? I think it's both and much more. To me, Halloween - along with other special days during the year - is one of my favorite days to celebrate. Maybe it's odd and maybe it's not, but I start thinking of ideas for Halloween months in advance There's just something about it that gets me excited. Call me a giant kid but I don't care.
Dressing Up: One thing I have noticed though is that, as I've gotten older and as much as I do still get excited for Halloween, special days like these can start to lose their touch a little bit. Certain holidays don't feel like they used to compared to when I was a kid. But the trick to keeping the spirit is to keep traditions going. Here's the thing, you don't have to be a kid to enjoy Halloween. There are things you can do as an adult to make it fun. One way that I mentioned before is dressing up. It doesn't make you weird or childish to dress up. If anything, it's a perfect way to take advantage of putting on the silliest outfit. You can go as crazy as you want and no one is going to judge you. You wanna know why? BECAUSE ITS HALLOWEEN! THAT'S WHY!!!
Halloween Themed Movies: But if dressing up doesn't really do it for you, sometimes doing something as simple as watching movies to get you into the spirit works too. For me watching movies like The Nightmare Before Christmas or Hocus Pocus bring on the perfect feeling of Halloween. Those movies always bring me back to my childhood and even now its fun to watch them with the family and, because they are such classics, watching them will never get old. And what's perfect about The Nightmare Before Christmas is that it works for two different holidays.
Fright Fest: Another one of my absolute most favorite things to do is going to Fright Fest at Six Flags. Granted I know that not everyone does this, but for me personally, I love going there with my family. And yeah I don't really get to go every year, but when I do get a chance to go, I always have the most amazing time.
Who You Spend Halloween With: Now, this is all great, but I think that the most important thing that makes for the best experience on Halloween is the people you spend it with. I love spending half of my time with friends and spending half of my time with family because if you surround yourself with great people your experiences are always worth while.
I hope you all enjoy yourselves and have fun!

spooks galore.
Scary witches

Wishing you a haunting night!"
