What's Your Favorite Beer? Blue And White

I am back to thinking about the only colors that matter, Blue and White.

What's Your Favorite Beer? Blue And White

At this point in the season, UK fans have established pregame traditions of Buffalo Chicken Dip and John Wall Shots. And post-game traditions (not to get cocky) of celebrating big wins with Blue and White Treats and Tall Boy beers. So what else do we have to look forward to?

There are few things greater than the traditions of CATS fans, but even WE have room for improvement in the post and pre-game party departments…

BLUE BEER!!!

And I am not talking about the kind with the mountains on the label and an orange on top, but rather a tall cold glass filled with royal blue beauty, topped with just the right amount of crisp white foam …

UK fans have been dousing their coronas with green food coloring on spring break for years hoping to get “kissed cause they're Irish." And although it leaves an unfortunate green tint on your teeth for several hours, I see no reason why this same principle should not be applied to every beer consumed this March Madness season.

And we all know that the possibility of blue teeth is a risk worth taking to cheer on our favorite Kitty Cats.

The idea of getting splattered with beer on State Street is so much more exciting when you picture a bright blue fizzy wonder flying through the air during a massive Blue White chant.

Abandon the days of generically colored beer and add a splash of two dollar blue food coloring to turn your pint glass into your new favorite “cats colored" accessory. Or better yet, channel your inner entrepreneur and follow in the footsteps of LSU fans by creating your own brand of Wildcat Brew to be distributed to the masses. But either way, its time for us to get on this whole Blue Beer thing ASAP… because like I said, what else do we have to look forward to?

So I leave you with this … Green Beer Day? Pshhh … Who needs it? Every day could be Blue Beer Day here at UK!

It is that time of year again. Christmastime. It is one of my favorite seasons for a myriad of reasons. Here are just a few reasons why I love Christmas. This list is in no order of importance.

1. The Christmas decorations

I am that person who will decorate directly after Thanksgiving is over. This year, my roommates and I put the tree up in our apartment before we even left for Thanksgiving break. It is a great stress reliever for me to just sit in my living room and work on the huge amount of work I have before the semester is over.

Mistakes are something we all make, no matter how old we get. Most of the time, the mistakes we made are little and sometimes due to something out of our control. Yet, there are mistakes that are bigger than others. Personally, I have mistakes that I wish I could go back and undo. Here they are:

5 Things To Do That Are Better Than Writing A Paper

Don't waste your time trying to write that paper when there are so many more interesting things you could be doing.

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?
