As summer is winding down, it is time to come up with the conclusion of what 2018's summer song is. All throughout summer Drake has dominated the charts with his new album, Scorpion. Whether it's his beef with Pusha T or his songs making it to the top hits charts his fame reach an all-time high. However, let's not forget about the bangers that other artists have created this season. Cardi B has also popped onto the top hits chart revealing that she cannot be stopped. The Carters never fail us with their performance. Along with Childish Gambino summer vibe songs, here are four songs that could be the anthem for summer 2018.

1. XXXTentacion: "SAD!"

This song truly spoke to his fans because let's be honest everyone had those blues and music was there for them. It wasn't until XXXTentacion was killed in June that "Sad!" hit the charts and started breaking records. Since then his song has remained in the hearts of many and been on repeat the entire summer.

2. Drake "In My Feelings"

"In My Feelings" exploded on the charts and could be the 2018 summer anthem. Thanks to the Instagram comedian, TheShiggyShow, his dance video spark #DoTheShiggyChallenge. He got celebrities like Odell Beackham Jr and Ciara posting their dance to their social media. Then, fans started to jump on the challenge and gave more hype to his song.

3. Childish Gambino: "This Is America"

The iconic Donald McKinley Glover is known for his many talents from acting to singing and even dancing. He started off as a playful hip-hop artist, and evolve into Grammy-winning on his third album. Over the summer he took people's breathe away with his music video of "This is America" that critique of race and violence.

4. Beyonce and Jay Z: "Apeshit"

The Carters are well known for their pop and rap music. They always amaze their fans and with this particular music video they went all out and rented the legendary Louvre Museum in Paris. They had black dancers in front of the white artwork and called out the Grammys for inviting black artists for ratings at the ceremony but not actually rewarding them with the trophies.

It's hard to decide which song should be 2018 summer anthem because these are all bangers. Also, there are so many more summer hits out there that I didn't even get to! If artists keep going hard at this rate, our ears are going to keep being blessed.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
