Sigma Sigma Sigma - Beta Epsilon Chapter

Being in a sorority is more than just "paying for friends," I have a group of women who inspire, encourage, and support me in my every endeavor, who make me strive to be the best version of myself, who are so very talented, intelligent, kind, funny, beautiful and resilient. Being apart of Sigma Sigma Sigma has taught me so much, and I decided to out those things that I've learned in a list from A-Z.


A- Appreciate every girl in your organization.

B- Be you. duh.

C- Call your friends whenever you're thinking about them.

D- Don't worry about the little things.

E- Embrace what you can't change and move forward with even more positivity than you started with.

F- Forget boys.

G- Get out of the past and live in the moment.

H- Hope for whatever your dreams may be.

I- Ignore the haters.

J- Joke about the night before.

K- Kill em' with kindness (always)

L- Love these four years with your entire heart.

M- Make the best of every situation.

N- Notice when someone does something for you, and thank them.

O- Overuse those stupid inside jokes while the people you have them with are still around.

P- Participate in everything and anything you have the opportunity to be apart of.

Q- Questioning something isn't a bad thing.

R- Remember the small moments.

S- Studying with your sisters is a horrible idea.

T- Take what you get from this organization and try to give twice that back.

U- Utilize every resource you are provided.

V- Value your own opinion.

W- Weakness is not always inevitable.

X- XOXO Gossip Girl.. Watch it.

Y- You hold the power to make or break your experience here.

Z- Zone in on what makes you happy.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
