We've all scrolled through Netflix, Hulu, or even the TV channels not knowing what to watch. Sometimes we don't even know if we want to watch something or not. Maybe you just want some background noise or new shows to get caught up in.

1. Let's start with a classic, Friends.

Let's be honest you can just pick up where you left off on Netflix or start from the beginning or the middle. If we are being really honest though, why take the extra step of turning on Netflix if it's probably on TV.

You can sit and watch the Rachel and Ross drama, turn it on and take a nap, or just play it in the background while you find something you want to do.

2. That 70's Show

Set in the 1970's, That 70's Show follows six teenagers in Wisconsin through high school, choosing colleges, and all things in between. This one is an easy watch for if you are bored or even if you want something that you may not have gotten checked off your to watch list.

3. The Umbrella Academy

October 1, 1989, 43 mothers gave birth to 43 children. The only thing is that these mothers were not pregnant when the day started. Reginald Hargreaves searched for these children and adopted seven of them and formed the Umbrella Academy.

The Umbrella Academy was a group made up of six of the children that were to protect the city with their superpowers. The seventh child stayed behind and watched her siblings be heroes and learned to play the violin to make up for her lack of superpowers.

Many years later, the seven children are now adults and have been brought together by the death of Reginald Hargreeves. Klaus and Ben's relationship is unmatched, but Klaus and Diego's is a close second.

Allison's relationship with Vanya gets better but she also has a questionable relationship with Luther. And where is Five? A monkey butler by the name of Pogo and a robot mother named Grace to play their own roles in the twists and turns of the show.

Who killed Reginald Hargreeves? Will Luther and Diego ever get along? What happened to Ben? Where did Five go? Does Vanya have powers or not? What happened to Reginald's famous monocle?

This show based off of the comics by Gerard Way, this Netflix show will get you hooked with its twists, turns, and soundtrack. Plus, with a season 2 in the making, why not start now and see if your theories are correct.

4. NCIS

For those that are into true crime shows, there is NCIS. With cop shows, especially when you are bored, trying to figure out "who dunnit" before the cops can may prove to be an added source of entertainment.

5. Criminal Minds

Criminal Minds has been around since 2005 and is ending after this season. Criminal Minds follows a team in the FBI's Behavioral Analysis Unit.

Trying to find out who the unsub is before the team does is a little more fun because this team relies on clues from the scene, location, crime, family/friends, and possible witnesses.

The team gathers these clues and develops a behavioral profile, most of the time determining if the unsub is male or female, and sometimes they can come up with a physical description.

6. Lucifer

Believe it or not, Lucifer is a cop show. Lucifer decides to take a vacation from Hell and finds himself in LA running a nightclub called Lux. After a singer gets shot outside the nightclub, Lucifer teams up with Detective Chloe Decker to find out who killed the singer and why.

After the case is solved, Lucifer finds that he liked working with the cop and they eventually become partners. The show is also very pro-therapy and features many other angels, a few demons, and even Lucifer and the other angel's mother, Goddess.

7. Good Omens

Instead of the Devil himself and one of his demons, Good Omens stars David Tennant as part of the angel and demon duo the show focuses on. Will Crowley and Aziraphale stop the apocalypse?

Will their friendship survive if the world doesn't? Why is this 11 years old important?

8. Grey's Anatomy

This medical drama has what you need for an interesting watch.

The show starts out with the main characters as the newest additions to the hospital staff and follows them as they work their way up and help the new additions below them too. There is plenty of drama, excitement, and competing for surgeries and awards.

Will the drama and events at the hospital drive them away or pull them together? How far can they go? Will you be able to stomach surgery scenes?

9. Stranger Things

A Netflix original that took the world by storm and sent Will to the Upside Down and set Eleven free. Will the boys be able to find their friend? How dangerous can Eleven be and where did she come from?

Will the demogorgons leave the town or will they stay? How many ways can Will communicate with his family while he is in the Upside Down? You have plenty of time to catch up or binge watch the show before the new season July 4th.

10. The Society

This Netflix Original is new and also familiar. A group of high school students leaves on a field trip soon after a smell creeps up on their town of West Ham. When they wake up and get off of the bus, they find out that they are once again in their small town of West Ham.

Something is different though, they are the only ones there, no parents and no pets except for one dog. The students decide to send a search party out and find that there is no way out, where the next town overused to be is now miles and miles of woods.

With no way out and now way to get help, will they survive? Are they going to flourish, crumble, or fall somewhere in between?

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
