Returning from my fabulous two-week trip all across the beautiful country of Italy, I've learned a lot about packing wisely. after multiple train rides province to province, I didn't want to overpack to only eliminate the unnecessary weight to lug to and from, but make sure I had enough room to stow away the many fashion finds! Here are some must-haves and Items you can live without whether you are traveling across the world or just a quick trip outside your hometown.

Your carry on should be easy to carry

In the past, I always packed every little knickknack I thought I would need in any desperate time while traveling. When you pack wisely not only will you have more room to pack purchases made on the trip, but your back will be thanking you. You want to make sure every item is easy to access and that you are not unpacking every time you reach for something.

I carried a two-pocket backpack and had more than enough space.

Front little pocket contained

Chargers in its own pouches it's easy to grab

Chapstick especially when traveling on a plane

Gum

You may think you need to but the six pack from Cosco, but you only need one pack with you only really needing it when traveling to and there.

Headphones

If you are a wireless headphone user, pack another plug in set incase your flight offers free movies there is usually no connection during flight).

But of the items packed, make sure you have a hair tie always easy to access. when traveling, your hair can be a setback with climate change or just being on the go.

The main pocket contained

An extra pair of clothes

When I mean another outfit, I mean a shirt and shorts depending on the climate of your destination. you never know if your luggage will get lost while traveling, or if your simply a klutz and spill coffee on your shirt. Its always good to have a backup.

An extra bag

This may seem like a waste of space, but packing an unused bag will make traveling back less crammed and hectic when buying souvenirs or a new pair of shoes.

Some of my favorite Items I packed!

You won't look "Instaperfect" all the time

You may think that every moment of your trip you must look good for an Instagram moment, but let's be real. Traveling can get exhausting and at times the only outfit choice that sounds good is a comfy t-shirt. Sometimes you may overpack outfits you never wear.

Pack travel size laundry soap. In this case you can re-wear shorts or tops and air dry them in your hotel room. You don't need to pack a pair of pants per day!

Always pack an easy slip on shoe and a comfortable pair of tennis shoes. Cute flats may not be the best idea when walking on vacation.

Comfort is key!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
