What To Expect From Fall '17's Greatest Shows
FOX

The fall season is approaching! You know what that means? Some of the greatest shows are set to premiere with brand new romance and drama! What adds on to the edge-of-your-seat feeling is that the kickoff for all these shows is during the same week! Are you ready?

1. Empire

The Lyons are back! Yes, yes! The season finale ended with Lucious waking up from his coma. The trailer for this season shows us that the Lyon family is still together and going strong. Lucious and Cookie are still together! However, let's not forget that Andre is the reason that Luscious was in a coma for three months. Let’s also remember that drama ALWAYS surrounds the Lyons. We shall see what drama awaits the family on Wednesday, September 27th at 8 p.m!

2. Law and Order: SVU

September 20th marks 18 years since SVU premiered. On September 27th, the premiere of the 19th season begins! I’m not sure what to expect from this season. I know they’ve released info on some guest stars that’ll be in this season. Brooke Shields is said to have received a major role along with Cavs player Isaiah Thomas. What are we to expect from the first episode? Detective Fin will be traveling to Cuba to catch a fugitive rapist. However, he does it as the department thinks he’s on vacation. I know it’s not much to go on but when ISN’T SVU interesting! You can expect to see this season premiere on September 27th at 9 p.m!

3. Criminal Minds

If you saw the season finale, you have been eagerly awaiting this premiere as much as I have. REFRESHER: Mr. Scratch has once again targeted the BAU leading them into a complete trap. While the team is on their way to what they believe is the location of Mr. Scratch, they are actually lead into a horrific car accident. The teaser that CBS released tells us that ONE AGENT WILL NOT LIVE. At first, it devastated me, but then I was relieved when I heard CBS was releasing Damon Gupton who plays SSA Stephen Walker. I’m going to assume he is the agent that is killed off the show and hope that I’m correct. Hopefully, Derek Morgan makes another guest appearance in this season because we just can’t get enough of him! This season is also set to revolve around Spencer’s PTSD after his mom's kidnapping and his miserable time in prison. The premiere date is September 27th at 10 p.m!

4. Grey’s Anatomy

If you remember the season finale, then you’ll expect to see more of Owen with his sister Megan (who he thought had been dead for years)! Meredith will hopefully pursue her romance with Riggs, despite encouraging him to return to his former fiancée, OWEN’S SISTER! Speaking of Owen again, after that emotional scene with Amelia, should we expect to see the two get back together?

ABC released a little preview showing that there might be a little romance between Maggie and Jackson. God, I hope not; Jackson and April belong together. What will happen between Jo and Alex? Rumor has it that Jo’s estranged, abusive husband Paul Stradler will play a major role in this season. What about Arizona? Now that Dr. Minnick, aka Arizona’s new lover, was fired, what will happen with the two? I didn’t like Minnick for the show or Arizona, so nothing lost there! Nevertheless, Grey’s Anatomy will clearly be filled with more romance, drama, and crazy turns! If you’re ready for the new season you can catch the TWO HOUR season premiere on Thursday, September 28th at 8 p.m.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
