I know that you are probably tired of seeing articles telling you what to do with the Corona virus going around. If you are like me, you are ready to get out of the house and see people again. While we still have a bit longer to go, I am running out of ideas for how to spend my time outside of doing things for class. So here are five ideas that I came up with to keep me busy.
Read a book.

I know that you have seen this one everywhere, but bear with me. As someone who reads quite a bit, I have taken this time to get through books that I have been meaning to read for literal years. Like I meant to start reading some of these books while I was in high school. Also if Spiderman can do it, so can you.
Make a playlist.
Find some songs that you like and make a new playlist to jam to. You can theme your playlists after certain things, shows, feelings, literally anything. Doing this will fill quite a bit of time and when you are done, you'll have a new playlist to listen to!
Pull out some games.

Pull out some board or card games if you are in isolation with other people. Get online and play games with your friends or try and beat a video game you gave up on. Try and see how long it takes you to beat your favorite game again. Play Animal Crossing or Sims, have a Mario Kart tournament, or play any other game you want.
Call or facetime a friend.
If you are bored, your friends probably are to. Call or facetime one of them to catch up and talk about random things. You'll forget about everything going on for a while and you can make plans for after all this is over.
Research something new.

Okay, hear me out. When you research something you do not have to treat it like an assignment. Pick something fun or something that you want to know more about and just research. If you want to prove aliens or ghosts are real, research it. If you want to solve an unsolved case, dig through released evidence and articles to find the most likely suspect. If you want to know the history of anything or why different substances react in different ways to baking soda or vinegar research it. Conduct safe experiments at home (like soda and mentos or baking soda volcanoes), do your own research for how people respond to new things. If you can't get out of the house to exercise or you just don't want to exercise your body, exercise your brain.
