I am home alone every day for some amount of time so I know how terrible it can be.

1. Painting

During quarantine, I had gotten into painting and I really think it can be fun. If you do not know what to paint you can just look things up online.

2. Sleep

When you are home alone this is about the only time you can sleep however late you want without anyone waking you up.

3. Drawing

I really like to draw but I am not the best. But honestly, I am okay with that because if I really try I think it turns out pretty okay.I usually just look up ideas online about what to draw.

4. Clean

I know, I know, cleaning is not the most exciting thing. But, It can be fun if you turn on some music or the tv and have a little party of your own and no one is stopping how you clean.

5. Baking

Baking can be so fun. You can make whatever you want and then eat however much if that you want. The best part is that if you make a huge mess your mom won't yell at you for it.

6. Painting Nails

Painting your nails can be really fun. You can do whatever you want to them.

7. Take a bath

I am not really one to take a bath but I know that so many people like it. It can just be time to yourself and no one can interrupt you.

8. Watch movies

You can watch as many movies as you want and whichever ones you want.

9. Binge watch a Tv show

Netflix has so many show you are bound to find one for many to watch.

10. Invite friends over

Now I would not recommend having a ton of friends over but if you have a couple that could be fun. You can watch something or just hang out.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
