What to Aspire to in Life?

Don't let your dreams be dreams.

What to Aspire to in Life?
Paul Risque

Running because we fear the darkness, bearing the scars of living upon ourselves, we have to ask ourselves it there more?

Can we know? Maybe life is just a moment in the blink of an eye in the grand scheme of the universe.

All our interpretations exist merely within a moment, a moment that comes and then goes.

So is the way our lives pass, people come, then they go. It’s all one grand fast adventure.

I say that’s why we should life it as fully as we can, filled with love. There are many who are the targets of hate, that become corrupted and controlled by evil minds.

Hate spreads hate, what stops is when people understand what happened, and why it happened. This is the only counter to hate, is understanding.

This allows us to work to end the hate. Life isn’t all that simple, we can’t just all “be excellent to each other.” Maybe not, but we can try, if we do not try we do not have any chance.

Maybe we will create a miracle or maybe we will fail, but regardless, we have to aspire to more.

We have to aspire to some greater good, some greater understanding or we become nothing more than little ants carrying out the tasks of those who we let exploit us. Perhaps we should aspire to be free?

If we want to be free we must first break our chains. We have to tell those that hold them that enough is enough. This is the trap society is stuck in.

If society does not massively respond to the hate, and threats in the world with understanding, the world will become much darker.

This is why we must spread understanding, because if only you and I aspire to this greater vision, and no one else can see it, then what is the point? At that point it is only a fleeting dream.

Life is more than living, it’s everything, it’s existing, feeling the sun on your face, the wind in your hair. Breathing the air around you is life. Realizing this and the uniqueness of life, that is the key. This realization is what allows you, and all people to move forward.

It’s ironic, in the massive age of information, that which we need to know, no one really seems to know about. We know more about the events that of occurred because of the main problem itself. Such is a dangerous way to live.

This allows for people to be idle, not have, or have opinions and not come to conclusions. This stops understanding by choosing not to.

If people choose to not understand what is possible, then nothing will be possible. Life is only as meaningless or meaningless as we all make it.

This is why we must aspire to excellence, because our time is now. This is it, if we don’t act now, when will we? If we don’t act now, who will? Are you eager to take on the future, or will you just let it pass you by?

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
