You wake up early Sunday morning and look outside and see the sun shining bright and not a cloud in the sky. 'Today would be the perfect day to go golfing' you think to yourself. So you call up your friend (or dad) and you get your clubs together, call to make a tee time and head to the course. These are probably along the lines of how exactly your round goes.
1. Your first tee shot
You tee up your ball and look at the hole ahead. It's a straight shot for the hole, all you have to do is hit it straight and you're set! You take a deep breath and BOOM you swing as hard as you can and watch the ball slice wayyyyyyy to the right. Great.
2. Finishing the first hole
Well, you ended up getting onto the green in 5 and then you got an 8. Good thing it was a par 5!!
3. Halfway through the front 9
You haven't completely given up yet, but getting a bogey or double on every hole has started to frustrate you. You finally get to the first par 3 of the round. You hit your 7 iron from the tee and watch it beautifully sail onto the green. You cheer a little on the inside and your dad gives you a high five.
4. Your first par
You put and watch the ball sink into the hole. This is it, the best day of your life. You got a part FINALLY. You smile and stride with lots of confidence to the next tee box.
5. The hole after you par
Not a chance you get anything less than a bogey on this hole. You probably say "I quit" 3 times alone this hole.
6. The sand shot
You unfortunately get into the sand and without a doubt you have the worst possible shot. It takes you 3 shots to officially get out of the sand, which usually results in the throwing of a club if not the ball itself.
7. At the turn
You shove 4 hot dogs down your throat, hoping it will erase the memory of the front 9
8. At the beginning of the back 9
You're not doing too bad. A couple pars and a bogey, you might actually get par on the back 9!
9. The Water hole
You're so happy with your golf game you decide to "Go big or go home" and try and hit it over the huge pond. You fail, and end up losing four balls.
10. The 18th hole
You somehow figure out your drive by the 18th hole and think to yourself 'where was this al round?" You end with a par and smile on your face.
Even though you probably said "I quit" or "I hate golf why on Earth did I ever think I should play" five or six times a round, you count up your score and realize you didn't do as horribly as you thought.
