Most can say that NBA 2k16 was a successful game but now all the basketball video game lovers will look to see how 2k can top themselves this year with NBA 2k17. Although 2k16 was good last year, there was also some complaints about it. As a NBA 2k fan myself, I want to see some changes and additions to the game. We will see when it gets released on September 20th hopefully we don't get disappointed.

BRING NBA ALL STAR WEEKEND AS A GAME MODE BACK!

In past basketball games players can choose some of their favorite players to participate in the All Star Weekend events like the Sprite Slam Dunk contest, Foot Locker Three Point Shootout, and the Haier Skills Challenge. Currently, to play these events, you have to go to MyGM, or MyCareer to play it. 2K fans want this to return as a game mode so we don't have to waste time on different game modes to get to it. Also, keep it simple and keep it the way it was the way to play each event was fine.

Choices in MyCareer

Last year, 2K called on Spike Lee to help them with MyCareer. Personally, I thought Spike Lee did a good job, but I thought it was missing one thing. This year, 2k needs to have choices in MyCareer that effects the story. For example, maybe players could have been given the choice to save Freq's friend. This year, 2K should have choices that actually matter in the game that can effect the player's reputation, money, friends, and family.

MyTeam Players

The great thing about MyTeam is that there are so many players that you can play with. Players from different generations can be on one team playing against other teams with different or the same players. There are a ton of players that you can buy off the 2K auction or pull from various packs. There are some players that you can play with on MyTeam but not in the game rosters. 2K should expand their rosters to get as many players as they can.

NBA 2K Draft Champions

Madden had a game mode last year that allowed players to draft from a random selection of players to play against each other called Draft Champions. This was a great game mode. 2K should follow suit and have a similar game mode to make their game modes more diverse. The selection of players to draft from should be players from the past and present to provide more diverse teams to create more competition between players.

NBA 2K17 comes out on September 20th. I am really excited to see what NBA 2k17 has to offer with all the new things. Hopefully the servers will be better this year. Maybe Ronnie 2K might see this.
