What Money Can't Buy
Start writing a post

You go shopping and you buy products to fulfill something missing in your life. Money can buy food, clothing, and necessities, but there are some important things in life money can’t buy.

Money can’t buy respect, it can’t buy trust, it can’t buy morals, and you can’t buy love. Money simply cannot and will not ever be able to buy respect. Respect is earned, it is earned when someone doesn’t treat you in a harmful manner or appreciates you for who you are as a person and your capabilities.

Throughout life you learn who respects you and who doesn’t respect you, and also who deserves your respect. Money can’t buy you trust, and will never be able to buy trust. I fully trust a handful of people in my life, some people have completely lost my trust and I will never trust them again. When someone intentionally lies to you, they lose your trust. As well as you lose trust in someone when they hurt you emotionally or verbally abuse you.

Money can’t buy you morals, and will never be able to buy you morals. People with good morals know and fully understand the difference between doing the right things and doing the wrong things. Some moral values that are important are: Being Honest and trustworthy, having integrity- doing the right thing no matter if it is easy or not, and respecting others.

Money can’t buy you love, and will never be able to buy you love. Sure you can buy people you love certain products to make them happier, but love is priceless it can’t be bought with money or sold on the street corner. When an individual knows that they are loved by people that they are close to like friends and family it makes their life feel complete and worthwhile, the opposite is also true that if someone doesn’t feel like there are loved in life by people that they are close to like friends and family they may feel like they are worthless. People tend to start to fall apart once they lose one of the above pieces that money can’t buy such as Respect, Trust, Morals, and Love. I for one am a very respectable person, a very trustworthy person, and have morals that I follow and I am a very loving person as well. Always remember the things money can’t buy in life, and you will get far in life.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine.
