1. Ted Cruz is our only HOPE.
The clear winner in the debate on Wednesday evening was Ted Cruz. The man states his policies clearly. He has voted on major decisions and has not wavered on where he stands. He has proven time and time again that Congress will not be allowed to control him or his decisions. He clearly explains his plan for the country and again proves to be a loyal friend to Israel and a true problem solver for the Middle East. Ted Cruz has substance. He doesn’t need filler or a distraction to keep him from answering whatever questions are thrown his way. On top of everything else, he is brilliant. He shows he is in full understanding of history and the issues impending on Americans today. He is a constant. When I think of Ted Cruz, I think consistent, trustworthy and honest. To be quite honest Ted Cruz is not a politician, instead he is what I like to call a true American leader. He is not someone of crafty taglines and begs for the voter’s attention by advancing on the public’s ignorance for leverage, but he educates. He educates me every time he opens his mouth in a debate. I believe if America misses out on Ted Cruz, we are in for a rude awakening. He makes Americans a first priority. Many politicians do the exact opposite. We have seen what president Obama has done; he has created a burden upon the American people in a variety of ways. He has demolished what America used to be. I believe Ted can bring us back. He says he will reignite the promise of America, and I take him by his word.
2. Jeb Bush smoked weed and is proud of it.
Yeah…. Jeb Bush admitted to smoking weed on the debate stage. My first thought was a blank stare, because I was so confused as to why someone would admit they smoked weed in public, let alone on a national stage during a debate for the presidential nomination. However, if it were anyone besides Rand, I would say Jeb Bush. There is never a moment where he doesn’t have that deer in headlights look, maybe he just gave us an explanation for it! My second thought was, did some idiot on his team not prepare him for this debate, or did some moron tell him to say it because he thought it would attract millennial voters? I would like to think it was the first, or at least I hope it was. If it was the second, shame on you Jeb Bush. Do you really think that low of Millennials that you resort to attracting them by using your drug past as an example? If so congrats for insulting half of your voters for the election. I can see Romney cringing in Massachusetts wondering why in the world did I support this guy? To make matters worse he continued to brag about it on Twitter. His Tweet, “Sorry mom.” https://twitter.com/jebbush/status/644338075527696384
Really? Sorry - I don’t want a pothead running America.
3. I still love Trump
So, I get a LOT of backlash for liking Trump. I don’t really care. Honestly, I have always liked Trump. Not only is he rich, but he has done a wonderful job with his children, three of whom have studied at the Wharton’s School of Business and have become very successful. The Trump family is very admirable no matter what anyone says. Trump represents hard work, perseverance, and a no-nonsense personality. He has hit a nerve with the American people and, quite frankly, one with me. Being a politician is easy; being a successful businessman is NOT. When people discuss qualifications for the White House, I ask them, "What is your definition of qualified?" Because the man we have in the White House was not qualified to be there, and now all of a sudden you are questioning the very successful businessman Trump? It boggles my mind. The man has built empires around the world, understands currency, understands foreign relations and understands MONEY. Money fuels the world, it fuels your everyday life, and like George Bailey from “It’s A Wonderful Life” once said, “It comes in pretty handy down here, Bub.” Well, its come in pretty handy for me when I'm in need and right now I am not seeing a whole lot of it in America. I also hear people concerned about Trump’s qualifications when it comes to combatting terrorism. This issue is very detailed, however terrorism is fueled by money as well, and Trump has vast experience on how to handle money and where it goes. I repeat, if the “Republicans” are so concerned about the qualifications then maybe they should look at the actual facts rather then what is crafted on stage to make someone look good or try to outshine Trump, who has actually made deals instead of living inside of a capitol building talking about them.
4. So you don’t vote?
The man speaks WELL! He turns it on when he is debating or on the news, but it’s almost like watching a stepford wife. Like does his PR guy have a remote behind the curtain or what? Button A adjusts posture, button B accelerate voice, button C flip to notecard 2 section 5.0….oh wait I didn’t read that…error… Yeah, so we know there is some sort of issue with Marco and reading, because apparently he doesn’t. His reasoning behind not voting didn’t really do much for me. We can talk about how well he is programmed all day, because lets face it - the guy brings it when he is on the stage, but other than that, I’m not so sure what else he will bring to the table, let alone produce. He is another wavering candidate that doesn’t know where he stands on the issues, let alone takes the time to vote on them. He just leaves me confused, but man he can excite the crowd.
5. Carly Spits Fire
Wow. Wow. Wow. She deserves a triple wow. She came out ready Wednesday evening and on fire! She certainly held her own as the only woman on stage and in my opinion, did a wonderful job of representing all women. She did an amazing job combating Trump and previous comments that were directed towards her. It takes a strong woman to stand up against the men she was with onstage that evening. Did anyone see Jeb Bush shake when she spoke? She is definitely a firecracker and someone to watch out for. I don’t know that she will get the ticket; I think it is another Carson situation where she is trending currently, but will eventually die off. I believe if Carly wants to sustain her current numbers in the polls she needs to take on more of a direct tone, rather than passive, because facing her adversary Hillary Clinton will be like debating against a man. In fact, Hillary has more man in her than some of the Republican candidates that were on the stage… *cough* Jeb… *cough* Rand. Carly has every weapon to use in this race; she just needs to show the angry side of her when it comes to television interviews. However, the debates did her very well and when you look at the poll numbers, you can see that she is lining up with Trump! Overall, I think Carly held her own. I personally don’t believe it was a win overall, but still it was a strong second to Cruz. Maybe we can see a Cruz/Fiorina ticket in the future?
