Living in a sorority house is an experience like no other. There is always someone to talk to and never a dull moment. There's screaming at all hours of the night, and when you get back from a night out everyone gathers in the basement to talk about the night. Here's what it's like living in a sorority house as told by Seinfeld:
1. When you get home after a long day of classes
Everyone is there to greet you and ask you how your day went.
2. When you go into the next room to ask your friends how your outfit looks
They don't really want to tell you how bad it looks, but they can't let you leave looking like that.
3. When drama is going down in the house and you need to evacuate
Someone comes storming into the house and you know all hell is about to break loose. You don't want to be there to witness it, so you bounce before she blows.
4. When your friends tell you what you did the night before
Shame. You feel shame. You came back and woke everyone in the house up. Yeah, they are definitely going to be mad the next morning.
5. When it's Monday and they restocked the fridge after the weekend
You don't get fed on the weekends and there's nothing better than a fully stocked fridge with all your favorite snacks.
6. When you become close with someone you never thought you would be friends with
Sometimes unexpected friendships are the best friendships.
7. When the fire alarm goes off at 3 AM
No one really knows why, but this has actually happened in my sorority house.
8. When you finally get 5 minutes to yourself
Do your thing. Alone time doesn't come very often in a house of 50 girls.
You may say you hate it, but in the end, you will love living in your sorority house. It creates bonds that will last forever and friends that are always around.
