Our Commander in Chief's main source of communication between the nation and the White House is Twitter, and there’s no reason why it shouldn’t be. It’s accessible and affordable to almost every American... that is, of course, until Net Neutrality is revoked.
In the hands of a capable politician, it’s a good way to take formalities out of politics. However, the President of the United States isn’t known for his extensive vocabulary or command of writing.
For the most part, he uses Twitter in the same way that a preteen would: to complain and to start drama. In a different time, this wouldn’t be a reality. But this isn’t a different time; this isn’t a better reality.
Still, it’s fun to imagine what the world would be like if the United States had a competent leader.

“North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un stated that the “Nuclear Button is on his desk at all times.” Although this statement is concerning, North Korea’s resources are scarce. Rest assured that the American Government is willing and able to protect its people.
In a time of panic, the President shouldn’t be puffing out his chest. Instead of inflating his own ego, he should be worrying about the concerns of his citizens.
2.
In my opinion, this tweet shouldn’t even exist, as the President of the United States should have bigger problems to worry about than an “overrated” musical and his Vice President’s hurt feelings.

26,000 unreported sexual assaults in the military and only 238 convictions. This is unacceptable! Our nation’s heroes choose to stand by our country and now it’s our time to stand for them.
Why on Earth did the President of the United States think to blame the setup of the military for sexual assaults? It should be known that the default setting for adult men is to commit sexual assaults.
Yet, because I’m more than sure that the President of the United States has committed sexual assaults, I’m sure that I can’t expect better from him. (Source)

My thoughts and prayers lie with those who lost their lives on the 9/11 attacks. You will never be forgotten, you will always be missed.
Honestly, I really don’t have an explanation for this one. I don’t understand how any politician could politicize 9/11, much less call it a “special date”.
Jokes aside, the power that the President holds is astronomical. Being the leader of the free world is a position that you should hold with grace and humility, not with a pompous ego.
Hopefully, in a few years filled with Trumptonian antics, the United States will be able to realize this and appoint a President who is competent.
