What Happens When You Pack Last Minute

What's a better way to get ready for a week of relaxation than cramming last minute?

What Happens When You Pack Last Minute
We Heart It

The countdown is over and tomorrow is finally the day you will be on a boat, an airplane, or a train. You're going to be traveling somewhere great, like Puerto Rico, Cancun, or Disney. Except there is one problem. Your suitcase is either empty, or close to it. Now, just mere hours before you have to leave, you are cramming to fill the bag with all your necessities and hoping to God that you don't forget anything important.

1. This is the dance you might do when you remember that you are leaving for summer vacation tomorrow!

2. Too bad you've only packed a bathing suit and some flip flops.

3. Now, you need to search your room for the clothes you were planning on bringing with you.

4. That one dress you really wanted to bring is in the dirty laundry so guess what you're doing now...

5. Your laundry is out and now you have to fold it, except you don't really want to.

So, you organize the clothes neatly into your suitcase. Sort of like this...

6. Upon packing away your favorite clothes, you may realize that you never got your favorite T-shirt back from your best friend.

You'll briefly go into mourning for all the potential cute outfits you could have put together.

7. Your bag is still not completely done and it is now past midnight. In a few hours you'll be leaving and you are fading fast.

8. At this point you don't even care what is in your bag. You may be underpacking, you may be overpacking.

Either way, you need sleep and you just want to be on your vacation already.

9. After shoving a few more dresses and shorts into your bag, it seems like you're all set.

If you're missing anything screw it... You can just borrow from Mom. (And you can literally use the phrase 'I got it from my momma'.)

10. So, it's time to zip it up, collapse into your bed, and dream about Strawberry Daiquiris and toes in the sand.

Hopefully you don't forget a toothbrush, or deodorant...

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
