I am a big coffee girl. I love to kick off each morning with a cup of warm, steaming coffee complete with a little creamer and purchase a vanilla latte in the afternoon for a mix of pleasure and a mid-afternoon pick-me-up. But I began to realize the correlation between the types of coffee I drink and my personality, which makes total sense. Obviously, a person who drinks a dry black coffee is very different from one who drinks a sugar coated latte with an extra shot of peppermint.

Which of these coffee beverages do you drink most and what does it reveal about your personality?

Espresso

You are a natural born leader and hard-bitten. You work very hard, but know how to play hard as well. Your hard-working personality allows you to get stuff done promptly and is an inspiration for others in various parts of your life. Needless to say you have a type A personality. You are straightforward and to the point, more logical, and practical with an ambitious edge. Sticking to a routine complements your reliable and loyal personality.

Latte

You may notice yourself having more trouble of making decisions and love keeping up with current trends. With your more laid back personality, overanalyzing is not a common issue for you. You are more reflective in nature and prefer to let your imagination wander. You are the epitome of a youthful, pleasant, and friendly open book type of personality. With a people pleasing personality, you may notice yourself veering from potential confrontation. With the easy ability of over-extending yourself, you can struggle at times to take care of yourself. Appearance and aesthetics are essential for latte drinkers.

Cappuccino

You are known as a more sophisticated and skilled individual who is detail-oriented. You have a preference to be more on the classy side, polished and put together. You may have a slight creative edge with your imaginative mind and your sociable nature allows you to be a good friend to others.

Frappuccino

You have an adventurous heart. Living your life in spontaneity and in the moment keeps you on your toes. You are naturally happy, socially bold, and maintain a positive energy. You do not need the energy of normal coffee caffeine because you have enough of it yourself. With a risk taker and reckless mind, you are all about spur-the-moments, enjoying the sweeter indulgences in life.

Iced Coffee

You are an assertive person with a "go-get-em" attitude and take charge attitude. You are not afraid to speak your mind and do not have time to deal with the pettiness of other's drama. You exude confidence and let nothing get in your way of you or your opinion.

Black Coffee

You lead quite the minimalistic and old-school life. You stray from the flashy attire and shiny jewelry with more of a patient and efficient way of life and fashion. Controlling situations is where you shine, but avoiding conflict is essential. You may be more prone to mood swings, maintain more of a shy demeanor, are resistant to change, and full of direct honesty.

Regular Coffee, Cream and Sugar

You have a dual personality as a mixture of an organized, but messy personality. You know how to be put-together, but know how to cut loose. You have a combination between logic and creativity. With knowing when to settle down and be serious, you still know how to have a good time.

Instant Coffee Drinker

Your procrastinating type of personality makes instant coffee a perfect fit. Without getting surrounded by the details, you tend to take life as it is thrown at you. Your faults may include poor planning and putting things off, which can be detrimental to your health. You tend to have a more traditional outlook on life.

Decaf/Soy Milk/Specifically Ordered Coffee

You tend to hold a more obsessive and perfectionist personality. With a high awareness of your health and body, you ably monitor your health quite well and often. You may tend to focus more on rules, controls, and specific order than the average. You may notice having an overly sensitive and worrying character, possibly leading to being labeled as selfish. You like things to be in their place and routine makes you feel comfortable.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
