Christmas has got to be the most magical and exciting holiday ever. It's so wholesome, and it makes me feel so warm inside.
Christmas is different for everyone, but for me, it's a season in which I can spend quality and intentional time with the people I love the most.
Especially since I can't see my family as much as I would like to during the school year, Christmas is a time for me to really see my family for an extended period of time and tell them how much I love them.
Christmas is also a season of feelings. Being in the cold or seeing all the bright Christmas decorations can make you feel some sort of way.
Some of my favorite feelings are when I drink hot chocolate and it goes all the way down my chest, when I see all the Christmas lights outside of my house, and when someone tells me that they love me.
The Christmas season really restores my faith in humanity, and it makes me feel really grateful because Christmas can really soften people's hearts and reveal their true feelings to others.
During this time of love and giving, I encourage you to openly express how much you love the people around you before it's too late.
You don't have to explicitly tell them that you love them; you can show them! Watch some classic holiday movies together, bake cookies together, watch the snow fall together (maybe create fake snow if you live in the West Coast), go on a ski trip together, or get gifts for each other. The possibilities are endless!
I pray that this Christmas season will be a time of happiness and love for you and your family! Get a lot of rest during this time, and stay warm during this cold season! Happy holidays, everyone!
