We are taking ourselves out of the draft lineup. It has gone on far too long and for once we do not want to be part of the team you are creating. We are done being the girls you text when you are bored.

We do not care if you have no one to talk to or all of your friends bailed on your plans. Nope. Sorry. We are not a player in the game here. If you do not have the decency to call, text, or Snapchat on a normal basis then you do not deserve our time when you are simply bored and have no one else to talk to.

And for all of you guys out there with serious girlfriends, put your phone down and pay attention to her. What a novel idea, right?! You have a great thing right in front of you yet you choose to go out of your way and contact another girl to talk to. Do you have any idea of how awful that is? Do you know what you are doing to that poor girl you are in a relationship with? And if we hear one more time that a guy is not exactly thrilled about being engaged all the single females are going to explode.

You made that decision to get engaged, not us, so you better turn your little self around and deal with it.

We have created a culture where lines are so blurred when it comes to dating and relationships that we do not know what is real and what is fake anymore. We cannot tell if a guy is being genuinely cool and wants to be friends or if he is looking for more than that. We do not know if we are talking, or seeing, or dating, or in a relationship with someone because somehow we have created this confusion.

We need to be upfront with one another and we need to never let our standards drop. So you, sir, the one grappling for attention, are now officially out of the picture.
