Why enjoy today, when you could be worrying about tomorrow?

A week in college is like nothing else you'll ever experience. And sometimes the only way to explain it is through Spencer Hastings.

1. Wondering why you signed up for 8:00 am classes

Can you just email me the notes...or? Next time, remind me to not sign up for 8 am's every day of the week.

2. Your Professor hasn't responded to your past three e-mails

When a paper is due at midnight and you can't figure out the format, it becomes full freak out mode.

3. You realize it PB&J Thursday

Not my first choice, but come on -- free food is a gift from God.

4. Seeing that one professor from last semester you swore failed you on purpose

Seeing her/him every day brings back the painful memories of lecture.

5. When you studied a total of zero hours for the exam and came out with an 80

Wow, I really dodged that bullet.

6. Seeing your friend while walking to class

Seeing your friends around campus is one of the best parts of the day!

7. Your professor assigns you a three-page paper due next class

Half the time, I don't think professors realize we have other classes.

8. That awful moment when you realize just how much work you have to do

Study for two exams, paper due next week, online work... there's always something to be worrying about.

9. Going to the library and seeing someone took 'your' table

Everyone has their favorite spot in the library. Walking over and seeing it claimed by some other group of people is like a shot to the heart.

10. Finally getting to go to bed

Knowing you were able to finish all your work and get to bed....quite possibly the best feeling ever.

11. Calling your BFF after a long day

No matter what time it is, sometimes you just need your best friend -- and a recap on this week's drama.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
