This is the week that most New Year resolutions are broken. You started the new year strong with certain goals, whether it was to be healthier, be nicer, or anything in between. This is officially week three of those resolutions, which means that it is the week where they all are forgotten about. Three weeks of sticking to these resolutions have been torture for most of us, so we are feeling about the same when it comes to this week.

1. Going to the gym for the third week in a row and realizing that it just isn’t for you

We’ve all been there, you get on that kick that you’ll work out and be healthy but finally you hit the breaking point. You cannot force yourself to walk into that gym, so you don’t and you go back to bed and regain those hours of sleep that you have missed

2. Not being able to stuff that last vegetable in your mouth and ordering take out

You physically cannot force yourself to eat that last vegetable on your plate and you realize that you’re done with it all. You throw out the healthy food and order that take out that you’ve been craving for weeks. You go booboo!

3. That last person has annoyed you and you cannot grin and bear it anymore

You finally let out all that anger and pettiness that has been building up inside you because you have been little miss nice for the last few weeks.

Obviously, not everyone failed with their resolution this week. There are still some of those who are going strong with it and who will actually complete it. But if you’re anything like me, then all three of those points completely describe how you are feeling this very week. You promised to stay strong but sometimes we just can’t, it takes way too much willpower and we just do not have them. But a resolution is nothing really, so no need to feel bad about it, you’re not alone by any means. Here’s to next year and maybe sticking to the resolutions until the end.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
