Wedding Photography

It's something that I love doing

Wedding photography is fairly new to me, and I am loving the process of learning.

I photographed my first wedding in June of 2016, and since then have photographed a total of 5 weddings.

Each wedding is different, beautiful, and a wonderful experience.

I've traveled to different places to photograph weddings, and met all sorts of new people.

I've also learned how to reassure people. The bride, the groom, the family members, etc. all feel stressed on the wedding day, and they always look to you, the photographer, for answers. Do I look okay? How does the weather look? Is it going to rain? How's my makeup? Can you fix my dress? Should I be stressed? How is the groom? How is the bride? Are they freaking out as much as I am?

These are all questions that are easily answered, and I have no problem reassuring the bridal party that everything is going well, and that I will do everything in my power to make sure the photos reflect a beautiful day, leaving out any mistakes or mishaps.

It is my joy to do so! Once you agree to photograph a wedding, you immediately make a bond with your client. It's absolutely incredible. There's this unspoken trust that you have between each other, and I love being a part of it.

They're trusting you to photograph their beautiful day, and you're trusting them to give you a beautiful wedding to photograph. In the end, you have beautiful photos to add to your portfolio, and they have memories documented in a beautiful way.

I love photographing weddings, I just wish that I could do it full time. As a college student, School is my number one priority, and with that comes the financial responsibility. I have a minimum wage job that is consistent so that I can pay my tuition bill, but I am hoping that soon wedding photography will become a full time job, instead of something I do in the side.

Wedding Photography is a beautiful opportunity that I am happy to have, and I am so grateful to the Lord for the gifts and opportunities He has given me.

Superman and Batman have nothing on being invisible with their superhero abilities. Here are some things that you could do while being invisible, because being invisible can benefit your social life too.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
